Leonard Jenyns & Charles Darwin

In 1889 Leonard Jenyns (now Blomefield) published privately a small autobiography "Chapters in my Life" (133 pages). This book is now impossible to obtain but can be seen at libraries at Bath and Cambridge and the few in private hands. For the Darwin student it contains an important chapter that has never been republished, so here it is:
