Roger Vaughan's Visitors's Photographs
Teague Family Album

I have no information on the photos in the album other than that the one designated as Jemima Teague, one  was signed by Mrs. Whitlock and there postcard addressed to Louis.  Christopher Louis Perkins was Jemima Teague's son and often went by the name Louis.  Frederick, Jemima, and C. Louis Perkins were living in Cannock Staffordshire when they left for the US in 1907.  Fredrick's brother Henry also went to the US.  Henry's son Frederick was given the album when he visited the Perkins in England about 30 years ago.  A picture that looked a lot like my Grandfather had been removed from the album earlier and I do not know what has happened to it.
I do not know who the people are in the pictures. The relatives in England did not know who was in the pictures. This is the album that had the New Years photo signed by Mrs Whitlock. I was surprised at the number of different studios represented in the album.

Feel free to use the pictures in your visitor's section. There is always a chance that someone may recognize a picture. I have a picture of Jemima Teague who worked for H. J. Whitlock that was taken in the US when she was older. I will have to look at it more closely to see if it looks like she is in the album.

Nice photos - thanks for sending them Larry - Roger

Notes:
In the 1881 census the family of the photographer H.J. Whitlock of Birmingham had two servants: Jane Blackburn (22) born at London, Middlesex, England who was a General Domestic (possibly the Jane above) and Jemima Teague (25) born at Tenbury, Worcester, England their nurse (see the first photo in the above list)

All c. dates are my best estimate and I would expect then to be correct within a few years - Roger Vaughan
